What is Exobia?
EXOBIA is an acronym of the first names of all the Hodges daughters: Ebony, Xaviea, Octavia, Boo (Octavia’s nickname), Ivy, and Anethea.
Exobia began in 1988 with creating original designer gift baskets, an array of sea shells, soaps, and earth-tone pebbles and was officially founded by Anethea in 1992.
By 1992, Exobia initiated its literary platform with published poetry, read at various venues by Anethea Veenman-Hodges in and around the Jersey City, New Jersey area.
1994 marked the expansion of Exobia's creations to music, where in 1999 the alternative music of 3RD Season premiered on such internet sites as MP3.com.
Catapulting into the new millennium, Exobia extended to providing Literary Agent services and independent internet publishing via Amazon, Lulu.com, and Issuu.com.
Driven and established in 1998, Exobia continues to be the foundation of all the organizations creative endeavors.
